As part of our first service call, we help our customers to locate all of their emergency shut off valves and tag them so that, when there is an emergency, they can immediately shut off the water or power to each appliance or plumbing fixture. To shut off water immediately, we will instruct you in how to turn off the main water valve or the shutoff valve for a specific fixture or appliance. With an appliance such as an electric or gas water heater, we will instruct you to shut off the circuit breakers and the gas supply to the appliance.
